Ceci n'est pas ma Revenant

This was a challenge. A friend gave me the task of drawing the people in a small club how I saw them in a night.

First up was Aphbot. She's kinda based on Cha Young-goon, the main character in the movie I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK which is a lovely movie, by the way.

Next was Mooniefish. I might come back to this one.

This one was fun. Obviously inspired by Maggrite, This is not my Revenant:

And last but not least, Tinkbot3000:

Don't run away! Tinkbot3001 just wants a hug.

Skeleton Horse

Still working on this one, but I'm really pleased with how ghoulish the face is turning out.

Tania Cinque

Another request. This one isn't so much a zombie. More like an undead sympathizer.

Anyway, this actually turned out eerily similar to the real visage of the lady who asked me to draw it for her. She built her character around Patty Hearst, so I used pictures of her in a rather famous photograph as well as her mug shot to draw her face. The body and clothing and attitude in general was inspired by Kathleen Hanna and the zombie girls in Zombie Strippers.

Globs

This was another request from a friend. He didn't have any specific requirements, but he loves Gene Wilder and he's very punk, so I drew him like Johnny Rotten resurrected Willy Wonka as Frankenstein. Without his pants.

I haven't filled in the details yet and his arms are a little stiff. I would love to give him braces but they wouldn't show under the coat which obviously needs tails. He also needs a bow tie and he definitely more rot. I'm working on making him dance as well.

Stabbin' Pants

New! From Blamco!

Yama LaVey

I started taking requests and was hit with this one: Anton LaVey meets Yama, Hindu god of the dead. Challenging, to say the least. This was the result:

AHM NAHM NAHM

Jorm

This is based on a friend of mine who bears a striking resemblance to Lemmy of Motorhead. He actually turned out way better than I thought he would. I had planned to use a buzz saw for his halo, but there was an extremely poor array of stock images and the one good one I found turned out to work better with another zombie I drew.

Anyway, it's Lemmy meets Jesus. Th' prophet of Barhah, Jorm.

Zahbrahz!

So much for a toon a week. I'm still pumping out some flashs but neglecting this blog as it's tied to an old email account that I rarely use anymore. Ah well.

I started a zombie project some time ago. I'll put a few up here in the next few days. Some are in various stages, animated and unanimated, character illustrations as well as e-cards and the likes. I'll just chuck it all up.

This one turned out rather odd. The baby zombies look more like frogmen than zombies. Creepy and ugly as hell but still very cute. I've dubbed the male zombie Irishmen after a friend of mine.

Here's the male zombie on his own:

No pre-loader on this one, same combichrist track:
Zombie Birthday.
One of these days I'll get around to doing some longer e-cards.
